DEPARTURE FROM THE HOTELS OR NEAREST POINT AT THE INDICATED TIME.
We will depart by vehicle to visit the innovations in the architecture of Seville in the 1920´s. then, we will visit the impressive PLAZA DE ESPAÑA, which is magnificent sample of the Iberoamerican Exposition in 1929.
We will also visit the CATHEDRAL, which is the third largest Christian temple in the world and which demonstrates gothic, renaissance and mannerist styles. It was built on the site of the main mosque of the town. The ORANGE TREE COURTYARD still remains from the former mosque as well as the GIRALDA TOWER which is the symbol of the ciy and from where you can see breathtaking views of Seville. We will go from the CATHEDRAL to the
ALCAZAR, which is the oldest royal residence of the Spanish Kings, it dates back from the Almohade times and is the best example of Moorish style. There you will be able to see ceramic tile mosaics, crafted ceilings, courtyards and wonderful Arab and renaissance style gardens.
We will go on to the SANTA CRUZ QUARTER, which used to be the Jewish district. You will discover the enchantment of its narrow streets, the mysterious small squares that are full of orange trees and flower filled courtyards.
Note: On Sundays and holidays, the visit to the Cathedral be substituted by Charity Church. On Monday, the Alcazar will be substituted by Pilatos House. We will finish our visit at the Giralda.
