In Madrid, the Prado shines above all, for its superb collections and its being one of the oldest on the European continent, but there is also the Thyssen Collection, which provides an extraordinary stroll through the history of Western painting, and the Reina Sofia Modern Art Museum, which houses the most important modern art collection in Spain with works by Gris, Dali and Picasso, including his famous uernica. The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao has an exceptional collection of vanguard works from the 19th and 20th centuries. In Barcelona, you will want to visit the Picasso Museum, with some of his best young paintings, the Miró Foundation and Catalan National Art Museum (Romanesque and Gothic art).
Suggested Itinerary:
Day 1. Madrid

Day 4. Bilbao
Breakfast. You will be met by your English speaking local guide at the hotel for a private visit of the Guggenheim Museum . Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Bilbao.
Day 5. Bilbao-Barcelona
Breakfast. You will go on your own to the Bilbao train station. Take the Talgo train to Barcleona. Upon arrival in Barcelona you will go on your own to your selected hotel. Overnight stay in Barcelona.
Day 6. Barcelona
Breakfast . You will be met by your English speaking local guide at the hotel for a private Gothic Walking Tour with visit to the Picasso Museum. Free afternoon and overnight stay in Barcelona..
Day 7. Barcelona
Breakfast. Day at leisure in Barcelona to enjoy its museums, the Ramblas area, etc . Overnight stay in Barcelona.
Day 8. Barcelona-Departure
Breakfast. You will be met by your private driver at the hotel for departure transfer to the Barcelona airport. End of Services.
